CANO/ACIO recognizes some of the outstanding achievements of Canadian oncology nurses through an awards program that is managed by the recognition of excellence committee and supported by a range of corporate sponsors. In 2017, CANO/ACIO awarded over $17,000 through awards, scholarships and grants. We are happy to announce that up to $32,000 will be offered to our members this year.

The Recognition of Excellence Committee focuses on recognizing and valuing all members of CANO/ACIO by not only their individual efforts to achieve excellence but also by their efforts as a group of nurses working in a variety of health care setting across Canada who excel in providing cancer care.
