The CBMTG executive and 2012 planning team has listened to your feedback and we have planned an inter-professional meeting that targets your learning needs.

Make sure you arrive in time for the Wednesday afternoon Nursing Session. Participate in 4 hours of Nursing “Hot Topics” presented in an inter-active format, including leading edge knowledge presentations, followed by round table discussions with the experts in the field. The round tables will also facilitate more in-depth discussion of the Hot Topics and enable sharing of ideas in the following areas:

  • Endocrine issues in BMT
  • Advances in Wound and Skin Care for GvHD
  • Cognitive issues
  • QOL and Survivorship planning
Throughout the meeting you will encounter sessions that will advance your BMT nursing knowledge. The psychosocial issues in transplant session highlights, sexuality, survivorship and caregiver burden.

We are pleased to inform you that the Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group will be extending a $25 discount to members of the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO/ACIO) to join the association.
