Purpose:
To facilitate the attendance of CANO/ACIO student members to the annual CANO/ACIO conference
Description
Two $1000 dollar grants will be awarded to be allocated towards the following:
- Travel
- Registration
- Accommodation
- Meals
CANO/ACIO member in the student category currently enrolled in the RN program or RPN/LPN program can apply for a conference grant, however they can only be a recipient of a student grant once during their RN or RPN/LPN program. The applicant must be willing to submitting an article for publication to either the Canadian Oncology Nursing Journal (CONJ) or the CANO/ACIO Connections Newsletter within one year of attending the conference.
Application Procedure:
Applicants are expected to submit:
- A completed application form
- A short paragraph (250 words) identifying why they wish to attend the conference and a sentence agreeing to writing an article within one year of attending the conference for publication in one of CANO/ACIO’s two

Applications will be reviewed by the External Director of
CANO/ACIO and the Board of Directors
Deadline:
Applications and all supporting materials must be submitted
by June 30, 2012.
