The purpose of the Palliative Care SIG is to:

  • Provide a national networking opportunity for oncology nurses
    interested in palliative care.
  • Promote the integration and visibility of palliative nursing with
    oncology nursing at a national level.
  • Continually strive to enhance patient care with advancement of
    knowledge through the sharing and dissemination of research and
    education in area of palliative oncology
