Research

CANO/ACIO supports nurses' efforts and achievements in Oncology Research. CANO/ACIO support two annual research awards. In addition, the association support the Research committee.The standing committee for research shall be appointed biannually to serve two years.

Functions:
1. Promote collaboration among members in their research endeavours.
2. Facilitate the development of consultation resources for nurses doing research in cancer nursing.
3. Lobby for funding for the conduct of nursing research.
4. Facilitate the development of nursing research findings in practice.
