Practice
Oncology nursing practice is both specialized and continually evolving. CANO/ACIO, as a national orgaization composed to Canadian registered nurses, articulates standards of oncology nursing practice. Practice standards have changed over time; and the provision of excellence in oncology patient care continues to drive redevelopment of these standards. Practice standards have been developed for nurses at the generalist, specialized and advanced levels.
